Time flies

A very cliché title but aptly reflects what I feel now. The cause of it, an ex-student who added me on Facebook. She told me has been looking for me so she can show me her daughter. Her daughter is 6 this year. It was 6 years ago she told me she was pregnant and had to drop out of school for a while as she had decided to give birth to the baby. It was my 2nd year into teaching.BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. BlogBooster is a multi-service blog editor for iPhone, Android, WebOs and your desktop I was really traumatized. It was like a drama serial playing right before me. Anyway this was one of the more traumatizing events during teaching, think this places second compared to the suicide girl episode, which shall make into another story another time.

Anyway, through Facebook I saw pictures of her daughter and I can't believe that it's been so many years since then and her daughter is going to primary school next year! It made me feel old. It also made me question myself - what have I done all this time? Looking at myself now, I'm nowhere at all. Not working, yet not leading a tai tai life, with a bank balance hitting low soon and yet an unwillingness to go back to work, really caught in a dilemma.

In those 6 yrs, u met someone named after a series of cars from Toyota, left teaching to work at a bigger school in some bird dun lay egg place, then switched to work at International Big Mouth, married the person with the name of a car, bought a house, RENOVATED house, and made full use of ur kitchen.

That's not too bad, I have less achievements than u...hahahahaah

Says who, your achievements are not any lesser.

You changed school and left that terrible environment we were all in, then left for a job that serves the community.Subsequently within the same organisation, changed to serve a different community. Finally now, you realized your dream to do a masters overseas and off you went Down Under. Whilst there, you honed your culinary skills in Hole in the Wall, did sightseeing Down Under and reverted back to the other side of the classroom to torture the teachers hahahahaha
